Office administrator

Main Tasks of the Role:

To undertake a range of administrative duties, including but not limited to:

  • Responding to customer enquiries by telephone and email.
  • Processing customer orders.
  • Coordinating shipping and logistics administration.
  • Preparing order documentation and production worksheets.
  • Assisting with accounts administration.
  • Supporting marketing activities, including website updates and social media content.
  • Maintaining and cleansing customer and product data.
  • Maintaining accurate records using internal systems.
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers and couriers to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
  • Providing administrative support to the wider business as required.

 

Previous Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in an office administration or administrative support role.
  • Essential you have good working knowledge of Microsoft windows.
  • Essential you have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and administration systems.
  • Experience using ERP, CRM or order management systems (preferred).
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines.
  • Good communication skills with customers.
  • Experience of social media or marketing administration would be advantageous.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Full time option

    - 35 hours per week - flexible
    - Typically Monday – Thursday 0900-1700 ½ hour lunch, Friday 0900-1300, flexible
    - Statutory holiday, sick pay, pension contribution
    - £25,000 salary
    - Working from office in Wallisdown (bus stop outside)

  • Part time option

    - 26 hours per week - flexible
    - Typically Monday – Thursday 0900-1500 ½ hour lunch, Friday 0800-1200, flexible
    - Statutory holiday, sick pay, pension contribution
    - £18,928 salary (£14 per hour equivalent)
    - Working from office in Wallisdown (bus stop outside)
